During the 40 days of Lent, individuals and churches around the globe are immersing themselves in the spirit of Lent Event to ACT, REFLECT and CONNECT.

ACT by giving up something we would struggle to do without.

REFLECT on the scriptures, our life and relationship with God, and on the life-journey of others in the world.

CONNECT with the people and communities of the Uniting Church overseas by learning about the circumstances that challenge their life.

As we learn more, we become inspired by the strengths of those who are affected by poverty, injustice and oppression. We discover that simple sacrifices we make in our own life can make a positive difference to the lives of others.
